



Mon Yuck is a Managing Partner at ChiuGroup. She has been involved with community organizations for many years. Mon Yuck has worked in leadership positions in service organizations and non-profits, such as the American Red Cross, the Chinese-American Planning Council, and currently serves as the Chief of Staff at the Academy of Medical & Public Health Services. As such, she enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, especially when they all come together to fulfill a single mission, goal, and promise. Part of her duties at AMPHS include organizing and managing staff members, ensuring staff satisfaction and staff engagement, forming community partnerships, managing the grants and development portfolio, and overseeing a vast array of projects. As an impact-driven social entrepreneur, she has successfully increased the organization's volunteer capacity and led a number of venture initiatives. Her experience extends into government, having served as an integral member of the Office of the New York State Assembly Assistant Speaker Felix W. Ortiz, and worked on planning and preparedness programs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Mon Yuck has a background in Psychology and Anthropology from Dartmouth College and NYU. She also holds an instructor certification from the American Heart Association, as well as multiple certifications from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency and specialty certifications in Crisis Preparedness & Prevention, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Hospitals Emergency Management, and Forensic Epidemiology from West Virginia University. In June 2010, Mon Yuck was honored as one of five Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation’s College Ambassadors for her commitment to help prevent and cure breast cancer.
