Our goal is to help individuals and organizations realize their full potential while driving positive social change. We hold the belief that anyone and everyone can achieve their goals once provided with the right resources and direction. Further acknowledging that each challenge is merely an opportunity and each setback is merely a chance for improvement, ChiuGroup approaches the consulting process by respecting our clients as partners in each project. We aim to provide new, innovative solutions to bring together resources and direction such that goals can be met and dreams can be achieved together.
At the heart of our practice, we value leadership, honesty, open communication, and building trusting relationships with our clients. We hold ourselves to fair and agreeable project fees, focus on the quality of service and value we can provide for our clients, and give back approximately 10% of revenues each year to local charities in the communities we work in. We believe that honing a partnership built upon these values will create lasting relationships that will ultimately bring the best possible results for each of our clients and our communities.ChiuGroup consists of teams of consultants, analysts, graphic designers, system developers, and other subject area specialists organized into practice groups and project teams. Each team is led by one of our two managing partners, who work directly with each one of our clients and direct the efforts of our analysts, associates, principals, partners, and other team members.
Large, well-known social impact organizations have the resources and expertise to grow, fundraise, and deliver lasting change. Smaller and younger entities rarely have access to such resources, yet they are oftentimes positioned to lead even more effective impact. ChiuGroup bridges the gap between the resources and expertise available and the accessibility of these assets, acting as the catalyst for social innovation.
ChiuGroup was founded in 2011 out of the need for a social impact and entrepreneurial focused consulting firm that brings together capacity-building, production, and consulting services using traditional principles but with modern methods and technology. Originally Chiu Consulting Group located in New York City, the firm grew quickly to offer much more than just consulting; it became an all-service organizational development firm that specializes in one-on-one attention to each individual client and the innovative social impact solutions it commits itself to in each project. At the core of its practice, ChiuGroup employs the latest proven systems in its projects, ultimately creating sophisticated solutions that are directly tailored to each individual client's needs. In 2015, we were additionally vetted and approved by the New York City Council as a trusted provider of non-profit capacity building services.
Led by two executives with a strong history in not-for-profit, healthcare, and academic sectors, ChiuGroup is able to conform its practices to the many different needs of professionals, individuals, businesses, freelancers, and students alike. While the core of its practices is rooted in social impact focused initiatives, it works with the same high level of expertise with all clients from varying fields, interests, and objectives. As part of a continuing education program, consultants always pursue higher learning, certification in new fields, and membership in professional associations to broaden their exposure, expertise, and skills.
As a social value driven firm, ChiuGroup also has a strong history of giving back to the community with a dedicated Social Responsibility program. Consultants are required to perform pro-bono services, in addition to participating in a civic engagement program through ongoing community volunteer work. Additionally, ChiuGroup ensures each of its projects contribute to a better society in their own unique way to further its social impact mission.
